Description[]

Using their music, bards boost the abilities of the party or hinder the enemy. They use minimalistic armor so they can freely play their instrument.

Equipment[]

Bards can wield one-handed sword, but they are better using musical instruments.

They have really minimal armor, wielding only clothes, hat and footwear (no bracer/gloves).

Tips[]

For most people Ode to Magi is a must. Get it to level 10 as soon as possible. It will help save your from Evokers and other elemental attackers, AND it adds elemental damage to your parties attacks. I have found it a waste of points to try and go for Song of healing/Mana too early in the game (if you go for them at all) because of all the points wasted in Nimble Fingers. Those points are better spent elsewhere. Getting Ballad of Love can be REALLY fun. Nothing makes battles easier then having your enemies helping you kill themselves. :p Ode to Elves can be really helpful, especially if you have a Guard. Higher dodge means more counters (ie: you need to parry or dodge an attack to counter it). Just beware if the enemy has a Guard. More hits means more chances for you to miss or get parried, and that gives the enemy Guard more chances to Counter YOU! Of course the increased chance to hit should help "counter" that. :p However, I think Ode to Ogres would be a better song to use when trying to kill a Guard.
